The famous celeb really had us jaw-dropped when she recently shared a selfie on Instagram. On August 1st, J. Lo shared a make-up free photo of herself in a fluffy terrycloth robe – her caption read, “Good morning everyone!!! #MorningFace”.
Now, we don’t know about you…but most people would pay a lot of money to look this good upon waking up!
And, you might be thinking, Ms. Lopez is a celebrity, so she must have had some work done or paid for this beauty. But? You’d be wrong. When it comes down to it, she basically just treats her body like the temple it is.

To keep your skin glowing and hydrated into your fifties, here are J. Lo’s tips, tricks, and routines when it comes to looking fabulous and happy.
Of course, it’s no secret that Jennifer Lopez works out…a LOT. This certainly helps with her healthy glow, but she also says that it’s super important that she washes her face immediately after working out.
“I always, always wash my face after a workout. That helps keep my pores clean and my skin feeling healthy,” she told Hello!.
Another major and crucial element to J. Lo’s youthful glow – sleep.
“The number one tip is to always get enough sleep. I can’t stress this enough,” she told InStyle in 2018. “I would love to get nine or 10 hours of sleep, but either way, I always make sure I get at least eight.”
Upon waking up (and looking incredible), the dancer/singer/actress always makes sure to wear sunscreen to protect her skin. It’s something that is a non-negotiable in her skincare routine.
“You have to protect your skin,” she told People.
And although Jennifer Lopez doesn’t wear much makeup if she’s not working, washing her face and moisturizing every single evening is a must.
Speaking of hydration, another not-so-secret tip that the superstar swears by is by drinking lots and lots of water. She also doesn’t drink alcohol, which helps keep her skin looking plump.
“I think drinking lots of water and fresh foods with lots of fruits and vegetables (I keep [them] with me at all time) all play into the quality of skin’s appearance,” she also told People.
And, of course, she happens to have some seriously good genes and DNA.
“I have to say I have good genes. My mom and my grandma had beautiful skin, so I was blessed with that. I’m fortunate in that way,” she said.
